“Rajaji National Park tickets” can mean several line items in the official day-visit booking flow. The Rajaji Tiger Reserve tariff separates the visitor entry amount from the vehicle amount, and the displayed amount varies by zone and visitor category. This distinction matters: an entry figure shown in a search result is not automatically the complete amount payable for a jeep safari.
The table below reproduces the tariff displayed on the official Rajaji Tiger Reserve booking page when checked for this guide. Charges can be revised, and the final live portal amount is the one to trust before payment.
Official day-visit tariff displayed by the reserve
The official page labels the categories “Entry India/Saarc”, “Entry Foreigner”, “Vehicle India/Saarc” and “Vehicle Foreigner”. We have retained that meaning rather than turning the table into an unsupported per-person package price. The portal’s final checkout should be reviewed before payment.
What the ticket amount does and does not tell you
The tariff table tells you the displayed entry and vehicle components. It does not, by itself, promise a particular animal sighting, a particular guide, a hotel, transport from Haridwar or an extra activity. Confirm inclusions with the official portal or your authorised booking contact before paying for anything beyond the displayed day visit.
Do not add a guide charge simply because another website lists one, and do not remove the vehicle line because you assume it is included. The official tariff displays them as separate columns. If the portal presents additional line items or taxes during checkout, use that current amount rather than an old calculation.
Children below 12
The official Rajaji Tiger Reserve booking page and home page display this notice: children below 12 years will not be charged for Day Visit. Enter children in the live booking form exactly as it requests and check the final permit. The statement is an official day-visit notice, but the transaction page remains the right place to confirm how the child is represented in your particular booking.
Nationality and identity documents
Foreign visitors should not use an Indian visitor category to reduce the displayed price. The official tariff has separate foreigner entry and vehicle columns, and the guest-login page says that a passport is mandatory as identity proof for non-Indians. Keep the passport used for the reservation available for the visit.
For Indian and SAARC visitors, use the category shown by the official portal and provide the requested identity details accurately. If a document or nationality situation does not fit the form, ask the reserve through its published support contact before making payment.
Taxes and other displayed charges
The official booking page also displays a GST table: below Rs 1,000 it shows nil; Rs 1,000 to 2,499 shows 12%; Rs 2,500 to 7,499 shows 18%; and Rs 7,500 and above shows 22%. Because this information is displayed on the live government booking page and may be updated, treat it as a portal reference rather than calculating a future booking from it yourself. The amount presented at checkout is the practical figure to verify.
The same page lists separate filming and commercial-camera information. Those are not ordinary family day-visit ticket components. Do not add a film security deposit or commercial filming fee to a normal holiday safari unless your activity actually falls into that category and the reserve instructs you to do so.
Late arrival and no-refund warning
The official page advises visitors to reach the gate 20 minutes before the last entry timing. It warns that tourists arriving late after the last entry time may not be entertained and that deposited fees will not be refunded in those cases. This is why a cheaper ticket is not useful if the transfer is planned without a buffer.
Check the seasonal timing table on the official booking page for your date. Our timings and price page is useful for planning, but the reserve’s own portal should control the final timing and ticket decision.
Where to verify the current amount
Use the official Rajaji Tiger Reserve booking and tariff page immediately before payment. If the page is not working or your visitor category is unclear, use the published support number +91 9411568917 or email support-rtr[at]uk[dot]gov[dot]in, after confirming the contact details on the official site.
