Rajaji National Park Safari 2027 Booking: Official Portal and Planning Guide

Planning a Rajaji National Park safari in 2027? Learn what is confirmed, how the official booking flow works and when to check the live calendar without guessing future availability.

Rajaji National Park Safari 2027 Booking: Official Portal and Planning Guide

Planning a Rajaji National Park safari in 2027 requires one important distinction: a future travel plan is not the same as a released permit calendar. The official website uses the name Rajaji Tiger Reserve and currently publishes the day-visit booking flow, a general tourist season and current tariff information. At the time of writing, a separate 2027 booking-opening announcement and final 2027 rate sheet are not published on the public pages checked for this guide.

That does not prevent you from planning. It means you should prepare your preferred dates, zone, group details and transfer plan now, then use the official calendar when your 2027 date becomes available. Do not pay an unofficial “advance booking” based only on a promise that a date will open.

What is currently confirmed?

The official Rajaji Tiger Reserve day-visit page currently states that the reserve remains open for tourists from 15 November to 15 June. This is the current published general window, not a guaranteed 2027 calendar. January through mid-June 2027 may fall within that pattern, but the official portal must still offer the exact date and zone.

November and December 2027 belong to a future seasonal cycle. The pages checked do not confirm those dates or their booking release. Treat late-2027 travel as provisional until the official portal displays it.

Use the official booking page

Use the official Rajaji Tiger Reserve day-visit booking page. The current page describes jeep safari in morning and evening hours and lists day-visit zones including Chaurasi Kutiya, Chilla, Motichur, Haridwar and Chillawali. Its tariff table also includes Ramgarh.

Only the live booking calendar can tell you whether a 2027 date, zone and shift are available. An information page can explain a zone, but it cannot create a permit. Check the official page again immediately before paying.

Current official booking sequence

The official page currently gives this sequence for a day visit:

  1. Select the date from the calendar.
  2. Select a zone from the available list.
  3. Select a morning or evening shift.
  4. Enter visitor details and group-leader details.
  5. Make payment through the official flow.
  6. Wait for the day-visit ticket to be booked.
  7. Print the permit.

The official guest-login page also warns that online booking can be done with a static IP, preferably on a desktop PC, and may not be possible on mobile or tablet devices using dynamic IPs. Keep that instruction in mind when the 2027 calendar opens.

Build a 2027 planning file

Keep a short list with your preferred date range, backup dates, preferred zone, group size, visitor categories and accommodation. A backup date is useful because availability may not match your first choice. A backup zone can also help if the calendar offers a different route.

Do not put a non-refundable train or hotel immediately after an early safari without a buffer. The official page advises visitors to reach the gate 20 minutes before the last entry timing and warns that late arrivals may not be entertained without a refund. Plan the transfer around the gate, not only the city name.

Documents and foreign visitors

Prepare visitor and group-leader details before opening the form. The official guest-login page says a passport is mandatory as identity proof for non-Indian visitors. Do not use an unofficial document list in place of the live form and official instruction.

After payment, print the permit and carry the relevant identity document. Keep a digital backup, but do not make the trip dependent on a phone signal or a screenshot.

Do not confuse current facts with 2027 promises

  • Current season information is not a 2027 opening confirmation.
  • Current tariff figures are not a 2027 price guarantee.
  • A zone listed on an information page is not proof of date-specific availability.
  • A private operator’s advance quote is not an official permit.
  • A wildlife forecast cannot guarantee a tiger, elephant or leopard sighting.

Official support

The official guest-login and contact pages publish +91 9411568917 and support-rtr[at]uk[dot]gov[dot]in. The contact page identifies the Rajaji Tiger Reserve Safari Booking Office at 5/1 Ansari Marg, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, with availability from 10 AM to 5 PM. Confirm the current details on the official contact page before contacting the office.

2027 booking checklist

  1. Choose a flexible 2027 date range.
  2. Check the official calendar rather than an old screenshot.
  3. Choose only an available zone and shift.
  4. Prepare visitor, group-leader and passport details where applicable.
  5. Review the live price before payment.
  6. Save payment confirmation and print the permit.
  7. Reach the gate early enough to meet the official entry requirement.
